Directions from Federico García Airport, Granada to Los Guájares: Leaving the airport (or off site car hire depot) take the first exit, signposted 'Santa Fe'. Keep to the right, following the white signs to Santa Fe (not the blue Granada one). Remain in the right hand lane, taking the first right, signposted 'La Malahá'. This is a cross country road which avoids the Granada City traffic. Continue along this road for approx 20 mins until you reach the main motorway junction. Turn right onto the A-44, following the signs for 'Motril'. This will take you due south towards the coast. After approx 20-30 mins you will see a large Repsol petrol station on your left. Take the rign turn at Km 181, signposted 'La Bernadilla/Los Guájares', across the green bridge and follow the mountain road up. The first village on the left is Guájar Fondón, the second village you will drive through is Guájar Faragüit. Continuing up will bring you to Guájar Alto. Main Road-Guájar Fondón 10 mins Main Road-Guájar Faragüit 15 mins Main Road-Guájar Alto 25 mins Directions from Málaga Airport to Los Guájares: Leaving the airport on the N-340, turn right onto A-404. At the roundabout take the first exit along Ctra del Parador towards the E-15. Turn left onto the E-15 motorway heading East towards Málaga. Continue for approx 1hr, passing La Herradura, Almuńécar and Salobreńa. Just past Salobreńa exit left, signposted 'Granada', and continue for approximately 10 minutes until you arrive at the Repsol petrol station on your right. 500 metres previously you will have passed the turning for Los Guájares on the left, however it is prohibited to turn left at the junction and you need to utilise the 'cambio de sentido' in order to change directions. Driving back South along the N-323 for 500 metres brings you to the now right hand turning, signposted 'La Bernadilla/Los Guájares'. Drive across the green bridge and follow the mountain road up. The first village on the left is Guájar Fondón, the second village you will drive through is Guájar Faragüit. Continuing up will bring you to Guájar Alto. Directions from Almería Airport to Los Guájares: Leaving the airport, turn left onto the airport road followed by immediately right onto the Paraje de la Rambla Lechuga, and subsequently left onto the N-344. At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the E-15. Follow this road for approximately 1 hour 20 minutes until you pass Motril on your right. Directly after Motril, take the next exit, signposted 'Granada', and continue for approximately 10 minutes until you arrive at the Repsol petrol station on your right. 500 metres previously you will have passed the turning for Los Guájares on the left, however it is prohibited to turn left at the junction and you need to utilise the 'cambio de sentido' in order to change directions.
