Several airlines, including low-cost companies, operate flights into Granada, Málaga and Almería International Airports, all of which serve the Costa Tropical and are within easy driving distance to Los Guájares. Airlines flying into Granada: Air Europa, Clickair, Iberia, Ryanair, Spanair, Transavia, Vueling Airlines flying into Málaga: Aer Lingus, Air Berlin, Air Europa, Air Finland, Air France, Air One, Alitalia, Austrian Airlines, BMI Baby, British Airways, Brussels Airlines, Channel Express, Clickair, Compańia RGL, Condor Flugdienst, Easyjet, First Choice, Flybe, Futura Gael, German Wings, Globespain Airways, Hapag LLoyd, Iberia, Iberworld, Jetair, K.L.M, Lagunair, Lufthansa, Luxair, Monarch, Neos Spa, Ryanair, Scandinavian Airlines, Spanair, Sterling, Swiss International Airlines, Tap Air, Thomas Cook, Thomson, Top Fly, Transavia, Vueling. Airlines flying into Almería: Air Europa, Easyjet, Hola, Iberia, Jetair, Monarch, Spanair. By Car Los Guájares is easily accessed by car and is located just off the main Granada-Motril road. Driving directions from the International Airports can be found here. Driving distances from the airports are: Granada 1 hour. Málaga 1 hour 30 minutes. Almería 1 hour 40 minutes. Car Hire There are a variety of car-hire companies based at all three International Airports. Pre booking online is recommended, with Carjet.com and Málaga Car Hire offering extremely competitive rates. By Sea Brittany Ferries and P&O Ferries operate regular ferry services from Portsmouth and Plymouth to Bilbao and Santander, in northern Spain. Driving South to Los Guájares takes approximately 9-10 hours. By Bus Spain has an excellent national network of long-distance buses. The main company servicing Andalucía is Alsina Graells. Their website provides information on routes and times, and offers online booking. It is not the most convenient form of transport to Los Guájares, as the closest train stations are at Málaga or Granada, from where you will either need to hire a car or take the bus.
